Political Economy of Finance - A university seminar
I held a seminar at Göttingen University in winter term 2017/18 titled “Political Economy of Finance - Perceptions Ten Years after the Crash”. The seminar was directed at undergraduate and graduate level students who could by attending and writing a 15 page seminar paper aquire 6 ECTS points when studying with the economics faculty at Göttingen University. In line with other teaching within Kritische Wirtschaftswissenschaften Göttingen this seminar was open to students from all areas and levels. This caters to the fact that we believe econoimics teaching to be open in terms of a social science and thus discussion and text oriented. We had great insights from master’s level business administration and great presentations from undergraduates on Securitization.
