DW -- Studio talks SVB and ECB rate hikes
May gave me some studio time as the US regional bank SVB collapsed amongst rate increases of central banks globally. For me, studio time is explanation time: Most people don’t deal with finance stuff on a regular basis. But what finance and central banks do may be abstract but it is at the core of our society - they tender money. And I love telling stories around how that works.

I also was glad to get studio time in both English and German. And while I know most finance/econ terms in English first and in German second, it remains easier to talk about something naturally in my first language.
